This service will replace the tired ML2032 rechargeable battery in your Sega CD as well as the volatile, battery backed, save memory chip with an FRAM save memory chip that does not require a battery. It's also rated to hold the save data for >100 years! Also, the BIOS will be replaced with a region free BIOS that will allow you to play any Sega CD game as well as quadruple the save space in your Sega CD to over 500 blocks!

A comprehensive install includes the following:

• Replace the existing volatile save memory chip with an FRAM memory chip 4X the size
• Remove the old ML2032 rechargeable battery
• Remove the stock BIOS
• Install a new 40 pin socket to hold the new BIOS
• Install a new region free BIOS that also supports >500 blocks or save space
• system cleanup and verification
