The Game Action Replay (GAR) for the NES is a rare device used to save states of real NES carts and play them back. Unfortunately, part of the GAR main execution code is stored on volatile SRAM memory that is lost once the on-board battery dies. This service is for fixing the GAR back to working condition.
A comprehensive repair includes the following:
- Replace the dead battery with a battery holder and new CR2032 battery
- Reload the volatile SRAM using a CopyNES
- Test the GAR to make sure it's 100% operational
